A. There is no restriction as to the age of an existing house or building but those built before 1985 will benefit the most as they have the potential for more significant energy-saving improvements.

 

Q9. If I did my audit and/or retrofit prior to the provincial program announcements, do I still qualify for the rebate programs?

A. To qualify for the Home Energy Audit program, the pre-retrofit audit must have been done on March 23, 2007 or later.
 

To qualify for the Home Energy Retrofit Program, the post-retrofit verification audit must be completed after June 20, 2007.
