What types of homes are eligible?
A . Existing homes that are:
- detached houses (e.g., bungalow)
- attached houses (e.g., semi-detached, row houses)
- low-rise multi-unit residential buildings (e.g., duplexes, triplexes,
small apartment buildings) that are no more than three stories high and are
built with the total footprint area of the building being 600 square metres or
less.
- mobile homes that are situated on a permanent foundation and where the
property tax roll is in the name of the homeowner.
Existing homes means that homes that are under construction are not eligible.
